Walking

Dartmoor National Park covers an area of 368 square miles, making it the largest and wildest area of open country in southern England. Dartmoor is an exceptionally beautiful place to visit all year round, with its deep wooded gorges, beautiful lake-like reservoirs and tumbling rock-strewn rivers.

Similarly stunning landscapes, wilderness views (and a level of tranquility that is all too rare in southern England) await you on Exmoor, one of Britain’s best loved National Parks, which – by reason of its location – has changed little over the years.

The shy Red Deer and the native Exmoor Pony are just a couple of the delights that make Exmoor unique – whether you choose to explore the park on foot, on horseback, by bicycle or by car.
